Zor'eth
Triangulum Galaxy · 3.2 Million Light-Years · Classification Level 7
Planet Profile
Zor'eth is a world of vast savanna plains, ancient rock formations and two suns that set simultaneously on the western horizon in a blaze of red and gold. Its climate is extreme — long dry seasons followed by violent storms that reshape the landscape within days. The surface is defined by contrast: blinding light and deep shadow, open plains and sudden canyon drops, silence and explosive sound. Life on Zor'eth evolved fast, lean and adaptive. Nothing that survives here does so by accident.
Biology
The Zor'ethian species evolved as apex predators of the open savanna. Their distinctive black and white striped pigmentation is not decorative — it is a sophisticated form of motion camouflage that disrupts visual tracking at speed. In movement, a Zor'ethian becomes almost impossible to isolate from the surrounding environment. Their skeletal structure is optimized for sustained high-speed locomotion, with elongated limbs, reduced joint mass and a cardiovascular system capable of sustaining peak performance for periods that far exceed human physiological limits. They do not tire. They simply choose to stop.
Distinctive Traits
Full body black and white striped pigmentation functioning as motion camouflage, white hair with matching pigmentation pattern, blue eyes with exceptional motion-tracking capability, lean athletic build optimized for speed and endurance, pointed ears with wide-range directional hearing, teal bioluminescent collar marking indicating social rank within the hunting group.
Culture
Zor'ethian society is organized around hunting groups — small, highly coordinated units that operate with a level of tactical precision that has no equivalent in known species. Leadership is fluid and earned in the field. They respect speed, intelligence and the ability to read an environment before it changes. Their interest in human subjects is partly biological and partly strategic — they have studied human adaptability across varied environments with considerable attention. They find it impressive, by their standards. That is not a compliment they offer lightly.

Description
A female humanoid of arresting and unusual appearance. Her entire body — skin, face, arms, legs — is covered in bold black and white striped pigmentation that follows the contours of her musculature with precise geometric regularity. Her white hair carries the same striped pattern at the roots. Her eyes are a vivid blue, alert and constantly in motion, processing visual information at a rate that gives her gaze an unsettling quality — the impression of being seen before you have finished looking. She wears a teal and silver bikini-style futuristic outfit with a luminous teal collar marking that indicates her rank within her hunting group. Her build is lean and athletic, visibly built for sustained movement. She stands still only when she has decided to. The distinction matters.
Note
The name Jeyla Zoryan combines a phonetic rendering of her individual designation with the species name as classified by human researchers. She acknowledged the name with what observers described as mild amusement. She has since used it herself, though always with a slight pause before the second word, as if deciding each time whether it is worth confirming.
