Vhorr
Andromeda Galaxy  ·  2.4 Million Light-Years  ·  Classification Level 7
Planet Veloryhan
Vhorr is a world of extremes. Three suns illuminate its surface in rotating cycles of brutal heat, leaving almost no period of true darkness. Its terrain is dominated by vast volcanic plains, black rock formations, and rivers of slow-moving magma that carve through ancient stone. Storms here carry superheated particles capable of stripping unprotected skin in minutes. There is no liquid water on Vhorr. There never was. Life here did not adapt to the environment. It defeated it.
The Vhorri evolved under conditions of extreme thermal stress and high gravitational pull. Their bronze pigmentation is the result of dense metallic compounds integrated into the skin, acting as natural thermal regulation and partial protection against energy-based threats. Their skeletal structure is significantly denser than human bone, contributing to their physical resilience and imposing stature. The cranial horns serve both as sensory amplifiers and as status indicators within Vhorri social hierarchy.
Deep bronze metallic skin with natural thermal regulation properties, luminous amber eyes with no visible pupil, paired curved cranial horns functioning as sensory and social indicators, enhanced skeletal density far exceeding human baseline, biological tolerance to extreme heat and high gravitational environments.
The Vhorri do not distinguish between strength and right. In their civilization, authority is earned through demonstration, never inherited. They do not conquer for territory. They conquer for selection — identifying worthy genetic material across species and integrating it into their own lineage. Contact with Vhorri females is considered both an honor and a risk. The distinction between the two is not always clear until it is too late.

Description
A female humanoid of striking and imposing beauty. Her skin is deep bronze, smooth and metallic in appearance, catching light like heated metal. She wears a form-fitting suit of black and gold, structured like armor yet fluid in movement, suggesting both protection and predatory grace. Two curved horns rise from her brow, framing a golden diadem centered on a luminous amber rhombus that pulses faintly at regular intervals. Her eyes burn with a constant orange glow, intense and unblinking. In her hand she carries a tall futuristic lance, its tip emanating a concentrated sphere of amber energy. Her black hair is drawn back sharply, falling to the nape of her neck. She does not look like she is waiting. She looks like she has already decided.
Note
The designation "Vhorrans" used by human researchers is considered reductive by Vhorri standards. The species has no interest in human nomenclature. They have, however, expressed interest in human biology. The nature of this interest has not been fully documented.
